Don’t miss our next landlord forum.

Our next landlord forum is on 26th January at 2.00 pm – in the Council Chambers at Oldbury Council House.

The program so far (although possibly subject to change) is:

  • Gerry Lyng from the Department of Work and pensions will be talking about Universal Credit and how this will affect our tenants and their rental payments. Although Universal Credit has got off to a relatively slow start n Sandwell – it is now building momentum and will soon start to affect private tenants. If you have tenants who are on benefits or who are likely to be, you can’t afford to miss this.
  • Oliver Wright from Sandwell’s Housing Benefit Service will be talking about some important changes for both landlords and tenants – including the new online Housing Benefit form, improved online access to information for landlords, the benefit gap (which will be of major importance in Sandwell) and more.
  • Matthew Robinson will be talking about landlord insurance and Property accreditation and what the Council can do for you.
