This Thursday, the excellent local charity Brushstrokes are holding a lunchtime housing event for both landlords and tenants in the private sector. Brushstrokes provide a support service to migrants and refugees to help them find decent housing. Once a home has been found, Brushstrokes provide further support to make sure the tenancy is a success and both landlord and tenant are happy. That could anything from making sure the tenant understands their obligations about keeping the property clean to help claiming Housing Benefit.
Here’s the details …
They are always on the look-out for new landlords and if you could do with some help finding a tenant and like the idea of having ongoing support, why not come along. Your two blog editors, myself Oliver from Revenues and Benefits and Liz Mooney from the Housing Quality team will both be there.
And you’ll get some lunch!
