If you visit any of the web pages for the different functions of Revenues and Benefits; Business Rates, Council Tax or Housing Benefit, you’ll now see an option to use a ‘chat bot.’ This is an automated tool which will help you:
- navigate around our pages;
- direct you to further links if needed;
- give general information.
It won’t deal with specific queries about individual accounts but it will help customers quickly find how to best use or access different features of our service. For example:
- if you want to know what form you need to fill in for a particular situation or where to find that form;
- if you need to know what information you should give us and how you can submit that information;
- if you want to know the rules and regulations that apply to your specific situation.
This new facility doesn’t replace our customer service team who are still there to help when needed but it should give you a quick and easy way of finding answers to some of your queries.
